Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actress. Her roles in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and in the television series Angela's eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most well-known work. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. She gained fame for her performances on Rectify (a dramatic) and Timeless (a sci-fi). Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera that was filmed in Gulf Breeze Florida. It was for her outstanding performance that she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award. She largely played guest parts in various TV series over the next few years. The character she played was the Dr. Erin Jameson on the TV series Hawthorne earned her praise. Her stunning looks coupled with her uncanny acting talent helped to slowly grow the number of fans. Her film debut came when she was around 20 years old, performing in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her previous films. She earned a nomination to the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the movie Beautiful Now'. She played Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. Spencer was awarded an Teen Choice Award nomination and is also being praised for her work in this show by the media.
